Nick and Sara Johnson are originally from Casper, Wyoming. We met in jr. high school, and dated in high school before getting married in while we were still in college in 2003. We have been blessed by God with 3 wonderful children, Zoe, 5, Caitlynn, 3, and Gabriel, 1. Nick served as the youth pastor and worship leader at College Heights Baptist Church in Casper from May of 2003 to December of 2011.
Nick and Sara were both saved by the blood of Jesus Christ earlier in their lives, Nick when he was 10, and Sara as an early teen. God has done a lot of great works in our lives to bring us to this point of obedience, and we can't wait to see how God is going to continue to move us, change us and grow us in Him.
From early in our marriage, we knew we were called to be missionaries. Nick as been to Ecuador, Chile and Mexico on missions, going several times to Mexico with Sara. Over time, God led us to Mexico, and called us to serve as missionaries in Cuidad Guzman, working with college students and planting churches. We were appointed by Global Outreach International in June of 2010, and spent the next 18 month raising support and speaking at churches. We are completely self-supported missionaries, at the mercy of God and His people to provide as we serve. We are currently in San José, Costa Rica at language school until the end of 2012.
